Download the data of a report as a CSV file.

Download the data of a report as a CSV file. You can open the file in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any spreadsheet program.

Export a report

  1. Open the report and choose the date range.
  2. Add filters if you need them.
  3. Click Export CSV.

The file has the same rows as the report on screen, for the same date range and with the same filters.

The file uses UTF-8. If special characters look wrong in Excel, use Data › From Text/CSV and choose UTF-8.

Cells that start with an apostrophe

Some text in your reports comes from your visitors' browsers, for example page paths, referrers, and event names. A spreadsheet runs a cell that starts with =, +, -, or @ as a formula. To stop this, Dodolytics puts an apostrophe (') before such text. Numbers, for example -12.5, do not change.
