Telegram Daily Report

The daily report is one Telegram message each day. It gives you the numbers of yesterday for all your websites, and the state of your uptime monitors. You do not have to open Dodolytics to see them.

What the message contains

• Analytics: for each of your websites, the visitors, pageviews, sessions, and bounce rate of yesterday. "Yesterday" uses the timezone of each website.
• Uptime: how many monitors are up, down, and paused, the number of active incidents, and the number of incidents in the last 24 hours.

The report covers every website and every monitor that you own. A website that a team member shared with you is not in it.

Connect Telegram

You need the Telegram app and the Pro plan.

1. Open Account. Find the Daily report card.
2. Click Connect Telegram. Telegram opens and shows a chat with the Dodolytics bot.
3. In Telegram, tap Start. The bot replies that your account is connected.
4. Go back to Account and reload the page. The card shows Connected.

Set the time of the report

1. In the Daily report card, set Report time. Any minute of the day is possible.
2. Click Save.

The time is your local time. Dodolytics reads the timezone from your browser when you save, and shows it under the field. If you move to a different timezone, save the time again.

Stop the report

• Stop for a time: clear the Report time field and click Save. Telegram stays connected, so your alerts still arrive.
• Stop everything: click Disconnect Telegram. The daily report stops and its time is cleared. Alerts are no longer sent to Telegram.

If a report does not arrive

• Make sure the card shows Connected and a report time.
• Make sure that you did not block the bot in Telegram.
• The report is sent only while your Pro plan is active.
• If Telegram cannot be reached, Dodolytics tries again each minute on the same day.
